Only the food additives are deemed safe and justified, can they be authorized for use in food for infants and young children. Baby formulas are required by the FDA to contain the recommended dietary allowance of nutrients and vitamins, most infant formulas contain fatty acids which are DHA and ARA. Organic lactose and organic glucose solids are used as a carbohydrate source.
